I have had this Tagelharpa for a couple weeks now and am loving it more and more. It’s small, which means the notes are all very easy to reach without much hand movement. The tone is very nice, breathy, and has that Norse quality I was drawn to in Danheim tracks like Berserkir or Blodfest. If you listen to Aftenstorm, Daniel’s band, the sound is very similar. Daniel has been very communicative with the initial design, updates on its crafting, and answering questions after it arrived. Very happy
The tagelharpa that I received looks and sounds amazing! The design seems very professional, and everything works and looks as advertised. When I first ordered my tagelharpa, Daniel was immediately very open and upfront about being busy with many orders, so my build would take some more time. This honesty was kept up through all of the communication, which I appreciated a lot. He even sent a small gift along with my build because it took longer than expected. Overall great service and product!
It's nice to play & has such a cool sound to it, much like what you hear in 'Aftenstorm', especially when plugged in via the pickup (which I definitely recommend getting as an addon!). It's quite breathy & spiky (think sawtooth/electric guitar) in the upper-mids to top-end which is exactly what I was hoping for, very resonant & projects well. The build quality & materials feel decent too.
It came with a bow, strap & rosin. Well packaged too.
You couldn't get better for the price!
